Dr Shaw Ping Tong

Dr Shaw Tong graduated with Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery (MB ChB) from the University of Glasgow, Scotland in 1985 and went on to complete five years of GP training in the UK during which time he obtained the Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG).

He then relocated to Australia in 1989 and commenced specialist pathology training.

Upon completion of that training he gained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) and worked as a pathologist for 20 years. About two years ago he transitioned back into General Practice in order to serve the community as a primary care practitioner.
